The website is operated by Meisei Corporation. This Privacy Notice page explains our responsibility in collecting, using, and disclosing your Personal Data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, which is about the processing of personal data in commercial transactions. For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the terms “Personal Data” and “Processing” shall have the same meaning as mentioned in the Act.

1. This Notice applies to any person who provides Meisei Corporation with Personal Data which is collected, used or processed and disclosed to Meisei Corporation for the purposes of its operations.

This Notice's purpose is to inform you: (a) what, how, and why Meisei Corporation collects, gathers, uses, share, and process your Personal Data and (b) your rights in relation to the Personal Data which you have consented to Meisei Corporation; (c) methods of contacting Meisei Corporation in the occasion you have any request or complaint; and (d) the data protection measures which we have put in place.

Personal Data is any information, whether recorded from any material information from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained that, the whole time of holding the information or collected with other information would be directly and certainly identified as an individual. Such information may be collected and processed by us, which may variously include but is not limited to the following:

(b) age, date of birth, gender, national registration identity;
(c) details, information, and contact particulars of your family, relatives or related parties;
(d) information in connection with Products and Services which you may have registered your interest with us for inquiry, updates, information etc.;
(e) your image and photo, by way of video surveillance installed in some parts of our premises as part of our security infrastructure;
(f) other information that is automatically gathered by our computer systems, including your computer IP address, links visited;
(g) sensitive personal data disclosed by you which are necessary for purposes of performing any obligation in relation to employment, for purposes of protecting vital interests of yourself and other people, for law enforcement purposes, for medical purposes which may include but are not limited to biometric data such as fingerprint, religious belief, health condition, dietary requirement, commission or alleged commission of any offenses and other necessary sensitive personal data required by law; and
(h) any other personal data required from you for the purposes set out in paragraph 8.
6. Personal Data about third parties
If the information you disclose regarding another person, you confirm that the other person has chosen you to act on their behalf and agreed that you:
(a) shall consent to data processing of their personal data;
(b) shall receive any data protection notice on their behalf;
(c) shall consent on their behalf to the transfer of their personal data abroad.

9. Unless otherwise required under the Act or other applicable law, Meisei Corporation will not disclose or share your personal data without your consent. Meisei Corporation will reach out to you regarding disclosing personal information and also reach out to third parties.
Disclosure of Personal Data
10. Your personal data may be disclosed to:
(a) our parent company, subsidiaries, related or affiliated companies
(b) our directors, authorized employees or representatives, auditors, advisers, consultants, professional firms or entities
(d) to relevant regulatory authorities, securities exchange, governmental bodies, and law enforcement agencies; and
(e) such other persons that Meisei Corporation may think fit or necessary.
Verification of Personal Data and Notification of Changes
11. We will take reasonable steps to verify personal data received at the point of collection but you are primarily responsible and liable to ensure that all personal data submitted completed information that is accurate, not misleading, and updated.
12. Meisei Corporation shall not be liable for any inability on its part to provide services to you if you fail to ensure that your personal data submitted to us is complete and accurate or fail to notify us of any relevant changes to such personal data.
Security of Personal Data
13. We shall keep all your personal information stored professionally in accordance with the Act and relevant regulations.
14. The third parties will keep your personal information confidential and will not be used for any other services other than the ones in relevance to Meisei Corporation.
15. Meisei Corporation will not provide your personal information to third parties without consent. Unless required under the Act or other applicable law.
16. Meisei Corporation will secure your personal information using the Meisei Corporation website. We would like to mention that the Internet is not fully secure, so we cannot fully guarantee the security or integrity of any personal data that could be transferred from you or to you through the Internet.
Retention of Personal Data
17. Any personal information that is provided to Meisei Corporation will be retained for the time it is necessary for the purposes and as required by law. In the event that the information collected by Meisei Corporation is not needed anymore, Meisei Corporation will delete the provided information.
Personal Data Sharing/Transfer
18. Your personal data may be transferred to a place outside Japan. You hereby consent to transfer your Personal Data outside of Japan to third parties for Meisei Corporation services.
19. We will take action and exercise due diligence to ensure that personal data transferred outside of Japan with standard standards of protection under the Act.
Access to Your Personal Data
20. You are within your right to withdraw your information.
21. Meisei Corporation has the right to detail your request to access the personal data under the Act or where we reasonably believe that:
(a) due to the expense of the time consumption to provide you access is a risk to your privacy;
(b) It may pose a serious threat to the life, health, and safety of an individual;
(c) it may impact on other person’s life;
(d) The request you place will be considered frivolous or vexatious.
22. The Act allows Meisei Corporation to reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for the handling and processing of personal information by you to obtain access to your personal data held by Meisei Corporation.
Limiting the process of your Personal Data

If you do not wish to receive any news, updates, promotions, or advertisements, please unsubscribe to those services when you receive them. They will notify us and will be removed from our database.
24. As mentioned above, the unsubscribe option will be available from time to time with different options. Please make sure it may take some time to process that information, so you still might receive advertisements until your request is being processed.
Failure to Provide Personal Data
25. Unless mentioned by Meisei Corporation you are required to provide the requested information accurately. By any chance the information is inaccurate, Meisei Corporation will contact you again to verify the information.
26. If you fail to supply us with the personal data as requested by us above, we may not be able to process your personal data to carry out the Purposes set out above.
Withdrawal of Consent
27. If you wish to withdraw all the above-mentioned information from Meisei Corporation, as mentioned above, please send us a letter to the above-mentioned address.
Exclusion of Liability
28. You acknowledge and agree that Meisei Corporation shall not in any event be liable for any claim, loss, or damage, financial and otherwise. Other than mentioned in a contract between Meise Corporation specifically mentioned. Any inaccuracy loss, or modification of information or for any reasons whatsoever relating to any information transferred from Meisei Corporation to third parties, in any situation related to any access or use of any technical, interruption, hardware or software failure of any kind, omission, delay, error, viruses or otherwise howsoever. You shall indemnify and keep Meisei Corporation indemnified from any loss, damage, expense, injuries, embarrassments, or liability that may be suffered by Meisei Corporation arising from your provision of false or inaccurate personal data.
Language
29. This Notice is issued in both English and English only.
Changes to this Notice
30. Meisei Corporation has the right to update and change the terms to adjust from time to time to have future developments. Continuing your partnership with Meisei Corporation after any amendments have been introduced or changed will be mentioned on the Meisei Corporation website, and you will be considered as you accepted the Privacy Notice as amended.
